Mezzosopranistin
Die Mezzosopranistin Alina Dragnea, die an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien mit der höchsten Auszeichnung, Summa Cum Laude, ausgezeichnet wurde, ist eine junge Künstlerin mit einer außergewöhnlichen Karriere in Rumänien und ganz Europa.
Da die Mezzosopranistin per Definition eine Verdi Stimme ist, brillierte sie in Rollen wie der Azucena aus Il Trovatore an wichtigen Opernhäusern wie der Rumänischen Nationaloper Iași, der Brașov-Oper und dem Oleg-Danovski-Nationaltheater für Oper und Ballett sowie in der Letzteres mit den Rollen Ulrica aus Un Ballo in Maschera und Preziosilla aus La Forza del Destino. Alina Dragnea wurde außerdem für die Rolle der La voix in Les Contes d'Hoffmann von J. Offenbach an die Bukarester Nationaloper eingeladen.
Im Ausland glänzte sie vor allem am Schlosstheater Schönbrunn – Wien, in Rollen wie dem Bertarido in Rodelinda von G.F. Händel und Dryade in Ariadne auf Naxos von R. Strauss, an der Oper auf dem Dach Nürnberg mit La Zia Principessa aus Suor Angelica von G. Puccini und in der Meistersingerhalle Nürnberg mit Sybill aus der Oper De Temporum Fine Comoedia von C. Orff.
Ein weiterer Vorteil der Mezzosopranistin ist die Herangehensweise an große dramatische Rollen aus dem Barockrepertoire, wie Marc’Antonio aus Marc’Antonio e Cleopatra von J. A. Hasse am Teatro Barocco in Wien, Bertarido aus Rodelinda am Schlosstheater Schönbrunn und Bradamante aus Alcina von G. F. Händel beim Jerusalem Lyric Opera Festival in Tel Aviv.
Alina Dragnea konzentriert sich auch auf ihre Konzertkarriere und wurde zweimal zum Enescu-Festival für W. A. Mozarts Krönungsmesse und die Ode zum Geburtstag von Königin Anna von Händel eingeladen, nach Baden zur Operngala Licht ins Dunkel sowie zu verschiedenen Liederabenden Konzerte eingeladen, wie Liszt Institut Paris, Kammermusik Festival Nürnberg, Best of MDW Artists Gala im Musikverein Wien und viele andere.
Die Mezzosopranistin ist Gewinnerin des Anna Grobecker-Preises beim Althofen-Wettbewerb in Österreich, der Stipendien der Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung, des Großen Preises und des Ersten Preises beim Victor-Giuleanu-Wettbewerb sowie Finalistin beim Armel-Opernwettbewerb in Paris. Im Jahr 2024 hat Alina drei Sonderpreise gewonnen, den Sonderpreis der Rumänischen Nationaloper Cluj-Napoca, den Sonderpreis der Rumänischen Nationaloper Timisoara und den Sonderpreis der Oleg-Danovski-Nationaloper für Theater und Ballett an der renommierten Opernwettbewerben in Rumänien: Verum Solitus.
Alina Dragnea nahm an den Meisterkursen der Internationalen Sommerakademie Wien und Harvard und studierte bei renommierten internationalen Professoren, Dirigenten, Regisseurs und Künstlern wie Ramon Vargas, David Crescenzi, Michael Sturminger, Margit Klaushofer, Christoph U. Meier, Vladimir Kiradjiev , Guido J. Rumstadt Elisabetta Lombardi, Iride Martinez, Peter Grossmann, Carlos Garcia Estevez, Ioana Bentoiu und Marina Krilovici.
Die Mezzosopranistin absolvierte ihr Bachelorstudium an der Nationalen Musikuniversität Bukarest, ihr Masterstudium an der UNMB und der Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg sowie ihr zweites Masterstudium an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien.

The endowments were also confirmed by the arias from "Dido and Aeneas" by Purcell, "L'incoronazione di Poppea ” by Monteverdi, “Marc' Antonio e Cleopatra” by Johann Adolf Hasse or “Alcina” by Händel, along with the elegant fit in style, the non-vibrato sounds, the attempts to grow the low ones, the incisiveness of the acutes and the solidity of the low notes emitted by petto. I think that Alina Dragnea's performance was a preparation, a school, a study for future developments in a repertoire close to romantic bel canto and even more."

"Mezzo-soprano Alina Dragnea can already be considered a reference name of the young generation of Romanian soloists with an "entrance ticket" on the international stages. Without specializing in the interpretation of Gioachino Rossini's or Handel's creations, Alina Dragnea already possesses (a rare fact at the Romanian opera singers, especially the young ones) the technique that allows her to accurately and expressively reproduce the baroque ornaments, the long notes inserted in the melodic pattern that transform the arias of the mentioned composers into turntables from the sacred or secular scores of past centuries (Rossini, Pergolesi ), to the dramatic texts of the 20th century (Poulenc, Enescu). In the case of Alina Dragnea, the idea that "if you can sing Rossini, you can sing anything" comes true. Listening to her in the role of Azucena in "Il Trovatore" I liked the luminous equality of the voice, the beauty, the sincerity, the controlled pathos of the expression."
